In 2022, 40 years since the Air Force 1 was introduced, a culmination of the rich history of the silhouette was realized with the introduction of the Louis Vuitton x Nike “Air Force 1” by Virgil Abloh. Released posthumously, Alboh’s work seamlessly connected the decades of prominence of Nike’s famed sneaker. In total, Virgil Abloh designed 47 bespoke pairs of the Nike “Air Force 1” for the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2022 show in collaboration with Nike.

Secured with an adjustable ankle strap and a dual lacing system, the white leather upper features translucent Swooshes and an airbrush-style Grim Reaper graphic on the lateral side. The standard Off-White logo script decorates the shoe’s medial side, while stylized ‘Air’ branding graces the tongue in purple embroidery.

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid SP Leather ‘Pine Green’ continues the creative legacy of Virgil Abloh with the designer’s signature flourishes. Contrasting white Swooshes are embellished with tonal zigzag stitching and a rectangular orange tab on the lateral side.
